For me, I think Curt Schalchlin, Winemaker of Sans Liege Wines & Groundwork Wines is making some of the best wines publicly available. One could argue makers of some of the most prestigious wines but its not fair to compare wines that the average person can't taste.
Besides, Sana Liege wines are simply stunning, artistic expressions of what is possible with these noble grapes.
Curt gets my vote.
