So why do you have to “sniff the cork”?
Cos’ its full of TCA thats why!!!!
Give me a diam or screwcap every time.
Have tasted wines back to 1965 under screwcap and they were awesome,
Lets not start the war here though!
Couldn’t agree more… Nothing more disappointing than opening something exciting only to find smelling like a foot. I’m amazed the wine industry won’t just embrace the screwcap already.
We love winemaking to unfathomable levels. Some would call us obsessed. This blog is dedicated to trying new winemaking gadgets, talking to professionals and understanding their unique approach, sharing DIY projects and anything a winemaking would find curious. We're all about sharing knowledge and hope we can help more people jump into this emerging hobby or help the experts know what else is going on in the industry.
