This is the normal color after the first racking. The clearing solution does miracles in making this look like regular, drinkable wine.

This is why you don't ferment in a carboy despite what the directions say. Cleaning that waxy stuff out of a bucket is bad enough. Trying to clean it out of a carboy would be a nightmare.
